Leading the modernization of a healthcare data platform, the full-time AWS Data Engineer - II will implement a scalable, cloud-native AWS data architecture, optimize query performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet reporting requirements in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Architect and execute the migration of XML object store data from MSSQL to AWS, defining optimal storage formats and data organization Design and build a reporting and query layer for non-technical users to run SQL queries against healthcare data Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices using AWS-native tooling Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a strong focus on AWS Proven experience in architecting and executing cloud data platform migrations in enterprise or healthcare environments Deep hands-on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Athena, and Redshift Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
