Responsibilities

  • Responsible for alignment and understanding of project requirements for data management.
  • Responsible for maintenance and extension of the conceptual and logical data models, including the party data model and the corresponding domain models supporting customer activities.
  • Responsible for establishing patterns for the integration of data from multiple source systems for consolidated views such as the customer 360.
  • Responsible for establishing data flow patterns in alignment with Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) supporting events, persistence and distribution.
  • Responsible for establishing persistence data stores for reliable system interfaces supporting microservices and miniservice capable of high performant data transfers.
  • Responsible for refining datasets based on data rationalization framework to iteratively refine and integrate them based on use cases to facilitate the migration of business processes to the event hub.
  • Responsible for refining reproducible integration, performance and growth patterns to support continued development of the data hub.
  • Responsible for organizing, structuring and storing data in sustainable method that improves usability, data accuracy and definition.
  • Responsible for establishing efficient data retrieval mechanisms and facilitation of self-service with reporting, analytics and data science

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or equivalent computer-related degree from an accredited United States college or university required. Other qualifications will be provided by the individual management team.

Required Technical Skills

  • Design secure, scalable AWS environments using Multi-Account architectures.
  • Configure advanced AWS networking including VPCs, Transit Gateways, and Route53.
  • Establish secure connectivity via AWS Direct Connect and VPNs.
  • Implement strict Network Access Control Lists (NACLs) and Security Groups.
  • Migration of on-premises systems to AWS cloud services.
  • Perform regular updates and upgrades to AWS resources and services
  • Deploy and manage Databricks workspaces across multiple AWS environments.
  • Optimize Databricks clusters for performance, scalability, and cost.
  • Integrate Databricks with AWS data stores like S3, RDS.
  • Implement Unity Catalog for robust data governance and access control.
  • Write clean, reusable, and modular infrastructure code using Terraform.
  • Manage infrastructure state files securely in remote backends.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing.
  • Automate the deployment of both AWS resources and Databricks assets.
  • Implement IAM roles and policies following the principle of least privilege.
  • Monitor system health and performance using AWS CloudWatch and Prometheus.
  • Set up automated alerts for infrastructure anomalies and cost spikes.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking, deployment, and data pipeline failures.
  • Cloud Platform : Advanced expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Data Tools : Hands‑on administration of Databricks (Workspaces, Clusters, Unity Catalog).
  • Infrastructure as Code : Expert‑level proficiency with Terraform.
  • CI/CD : Deep experience building and managing Jenkins pipelines.
  • Networking : Strong mastery of TCP/IP, DNS, VPC peering, and routing tables.
