Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS AI Solution Architect with 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years designing cloud-native AI solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise cloud architecture, Generative AI, AWS services, application security, and scalable AI platform design.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud Architecture, and Enterprise Solution Design.
- 4+ years of experience designing cloud-native AI/ML solutions on AWS.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent cloud architecture certification).
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Prompt Engineering, AI Agent Frameworks, Tool/Function Calling, Model Evaluation, Guardrails, and AI Observability.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including:
- Amazon Bedrock
- Amazon SageMaker
- AWS Lambda
- AWS Step Functions
- API Gateway
- Amazon ECS/EKS
- Amazon S3
- IAM
- CloudWatch
- AWS Networking and Security services
- Strong programming experience with Python, REST APIs, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architectures.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of Application Security and Cloud Security, including:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Encryption
- OWASP/API Security
- Threat Modeling
- Secure SDLC
- Secrets Management
- Logging & Monitoring
- Network Security
- Resiliency and Compliance
- Experience defining non-functional requirements for Security, Privacy, Scalability, Performance, Resilience, Auditability, and Operational Readiness.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale, governed, secure, and compliant AI platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to executive leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience architecting Enterprise AI Agent Platforms and Agentic Workflow solutions.
- Experience with workflow orchestration, API integrations, enterprise observability, and reusable cloud architecture patterns.
- Experience performing build-vs-buy evaluations, technology selection, and architectural risk assessments.
- Experience reviewing solution designs to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and security controls.
- Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
