AWS Administrator / Data Analysis & Administration SpecialistLocation: Titusville, NJ (Onsite Required) Duration: 6+ Months Rate: DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced AWS Administrator with a strong background in managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, particularly in Data & Analytics applications. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at collaboration, and is committed to delivering high-quality solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage AWS environments to support Data & Analytics solutions involving both structured and unstructured data.Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to refine, document, and prioritize infrastructure requirements.Accurately forecast engineering efforts and ensure on-time delivery of solutions.Implement and maintain continuous integration and automation to support stable development and production systems.Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance improvements.Perform Linux and Windows system administration tasks.Document best practices and enforce governance standards within the team.Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, multicultural work environment.Stay up to date with emerging AWS tools, services, and industry best practices.Required Skills & Experience8+ years of professional experience in AWS administration.Proven experience delivering end-to-end Data & Analytics solutions in AWS and Oracle environments.Strong understanding of continuous integration, automation, and cloud infrastructure optimization.Proficiency in both Linux and Windows system administration.Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.Ability to work in multi-site, multicultural teams.BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.Exceptional attention to detail and quality.Preferred Skills & ExperienceAWS Architect Associate certification.Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and tools such as JIRA, GIT/Bitbucket, and Confluence.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket Pipelines.Strong working knowledge of Sqoop, Spark, Oozie, Hive, and Impala.Experience with ETL tools like Informatica and/or Talend.Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or R.Experience with data lineage, data profiling, and metadata management tools and processes.
