AVP, Trader (Bulk Desk)Location: CA - Westlake VillageThe AmeriHome AVP, Trader (Bulk Desk) is responsible for the firm's bidding and trading operational workflows for the correspondent bulk acquisition channel. Primary responsibilities include managing the tape cracking process, ensuring bids are sent on time, the confirmation process and day over day monitoring and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of both mortgage capital markets and client facing experience. This position offers a great opportunity to expand on your knowledge of mortgage loan pricing and execution strategies at the top bank owned originator in the country.Processing bids and trade executionMonitor incoming bid tapes and tape cracking processConfirming bids are correct and sent on timeProcessing trade confirmationsWorking directly with clients to resolve any bidding or trading issuesAnalyze bid and margin performance across multiple dimensionsReport bidding and trade execution performanceWhat you'll need:Minimum 2+ years of direct mortgage experienceStrong background in Excel, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, pivot tables, etc.

Experience with SQL is a plusMust be able to clearly and effectively communicate with clientsDemonstrated ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and adhere to firm deadlinesCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $76,405.00 - $94,381.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
