External Statutory Financial Reporting

Responsible for external statutory financial reporting for insurance companies and maintaining compliance for internal and external vendors.

• Manage the preparation and filings of the US statutory financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Manage staff and provide guidance, prioritize workload, and ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of statutory filings including quarterly and annual statements, taxes, and regulatory disclosures.
• Review and approve statutory journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for regulatory disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, NAIC proposals and adoptions, and updates to Accounting Practices and Procedural manual.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors.
• Assist with state examination request and other regulatory request.

Salary

$130,000 - $150,000
