About the Role
The AVP, Floating Branch Manager is a retail management position that guides and manages the operational efforts and services of multiple branches, providing a consistent world‑class experience to credit union members, coworkers, and community partners. The role ensures policies and procedures are followed, and members are served promptly and professionally.
Essential Functions
- Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with members and area businesses to bring in new business and foster continued growth.
- Handle escalated member issues and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution and keeping management informed of significant problems.
- Maintain a highly motivated, well‑trained branch staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to handle, explain, and respond to member inquiries accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage branch performance, including profitability, transaction volumes, expense control, and budget adherence; coach employees regularly and review cross‑selling activities.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for growth and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), and with credit union policies and procedures for branch safety and security.
- Maintain high proficiency over branch operations and proper cash controls; ensure all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day.
- Oversee cash handling, resolving balancing or discrepancy issues as needed; manage TCRs and servicing of ATMs and TMs both in‑house and off‑site.
- Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in business or related field or two years of experience for each year not completed required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum five years of retail management/leadership experience.
- Experience in a sales capacity and general understanding of financial statements.

Salary Range
$56,194.69 – $70,243.36 per annum.
