Base pay range

We’re seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Cognitive Engineering —a senior leader who will architect and execute the enterprise-wide strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Cognitive Technologies. This pivotal role will lead the AI Center for Enablement , accelerating AI adoption, developing scalable platforms, and delivering measurable value across the enterprise.

What You'll Lead:

• Define and execute the strategic vision for Cognitive AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI , and Machine Learning.
• Drive the enterprise-wide AI transformation roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Oversee the development and scaling of an AI Foundational Platform , enabling secure, ethical, and explainable AI at scale.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify high-impact use cases and move them from idea to full-scale implementation.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of cutting-edge technologies in LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and Agentic systems .
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with leading AI vendors, cloud providers, and consulting firms .
• Champion AI literacy programs to build awareness and engagement across all levels of the organization.
• Build and scale high-performing teams in AI Engineering and Operations , fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in AI, Data Science, and Advanced Analytics , including leadership of large-scale Generative and Agentic AI initiatives.
• Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and scaling AI solutions—including LLMs, Agentic AI , and prompt engineering —within cloud-native, production-grade environments .
• Deep understanding of AI governance, ethical AI, and explainability principles.
• Strong experience applying Scaled Agile principles to AI project delivery and roadmap execution.
