This role requires expert-level technical knowledge, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to independently resolve complex issues while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all custodial work.

The Client Service, AVP takes full ownership of client relationships and serves as a subject matter expert for the team.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & OperationsOwn end-to-end account onboarding for complex clients, including preparation of Advisory Agreements and custodial account agreementsManage custodial inquiries and account maintenance through resolution, including retirement coding reconciliations and complex account maintenanceHandle all asset movement requests with clients and at the custodial level from initiation to completion, including checks, wires, ACH, journals, and complex transactionsProcess retirement account rollovers, reconciliation of transferred assets, and annuity rollovers through completion with independent judgmentFacilitate Separately Managed Accounts and subdocument processing, including client profile sheets and private investment subscription documentsCoordinate offboarding client notifications and manage returned mail/abandoned property accountsProvide proactive communication with clients and advisor teams throughout all account-related matters, anticipating needs and delivering solutionsAssure accuracy and timeliness of all custodian workIndependently resolve complex client issues without escalationTechnical ExpertiseMaintain expert-level technical knowledge in operational mattersStay current with custodial bulletins, procedures, and industry developmentsUnderstand and comply with all financial regulationsMaintain high diligence in client privacy and securityDemonstrate advanced expertise in the systems used by the company, such as CRM, custodian websites, and other relevant technological resourcesMaintain required logs and supporting documentation for compliance-related purposesLead process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiencyTeam CollaborationLead client meetings within areas of expertiseProvide training and mentorship to Client Service Associates and Senior Client Service AssociatesProvide additive support to Advisor Associates, Lead Advisors, and Service AdvisorsLead process improvement initiatives and develop best practicesProactively document, develop and improve standard templates, policies, procedures, and materialsChampion adoption of new technology solutionsContribute positively to office culture, morale, and team collaborationServe as subject matter expert for the team on complex operational mattersRequired CompetenciesClient Service ExcellenceExpert client orientation with focus on creating memorable, impactful experiencesHigh level of professionalism and strong communication skills (verbal and written)Advanced ability to resolve complex issues professionally and effectivelyStrong interpersonal savvy and relationship development skillsOperational ExcellenceAdvanced organizational, planning, and prioritization skillsHighest standards and sense of urgency in delivering quality workAbility to manage multiple complex tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlinesAdvanced problem-solving and independent decision-making capabilitiesAdvanced technical proficiency in relevant systems and custodian platformsProfessional DevelopmentAbility to learn quickly when facing new challengesOpenness to change and continuous improvementTechnology orientation and commitment to incorporating best practicesLeadership skills to mentor and develop team membersStrategic thinking application to operational challengesQualificationsBachelor's degree, or related experience, preferably in finance, economics, or related field5+ years of experience in financial services with proven quality control and process proficiencyStrong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAdvanced expertise with CRM systems and custodial platforms requiredKnowledge of RIA business model and service deliveryExcellent organizational and time management skillsCommitment to professional growth and leadership developmentThis position offers growth opportunities into management roles and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client service through advanced expertise and client relationship ownership.What We Offer: Wealthspire Advisors is proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more.
