The Avionics Technician is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications of avionics and electrical systems on business jets and turboprop aircraft. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing a variety of systems such as autopilots, flight management, navigation and communication, EFIS, electrical systems, lighting, pitot/static systems, and cabin entertainment systems, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and company procedures.

#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
*A minimum of 7 years of experience working on and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and airframe systems.
*Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, and 145.
*Experience with autopilots, flight management systems, navigation and communication systems, EFIS, aircraft electrical systems, lighting, and pitot/static systems.
*Ability to prepare and maintain maintenance records in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and company policies.
*Ability to follow the company work order and parts requisition processes.
*Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
#Preferred Skills
*Bench repair and calibration experience.
*FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
*FCC license.
*Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to develop technical skills.
*Organizational skills and attention to detail.
#Job Duties & Functions
*Troubleshoot and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
*Communicate with department managers or crew chiefs regarding problems, repairs, and work status.
*Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
*Prepare all required documentation in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, repair station manuals, and OEM aircraft manufacturer manuals.
*Learn, understand, and follow the company work order and parts requisition processes.
*Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.
*Repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.
*Mentor junior technicians and work collaboratively within a team environment.
