Avionics TechnicianTrillium Professional is now seeking an Avionics Technician in Bradenton, FL for a direct-hire placement!Salary Range $90k-110k but commensurate to fielded experience. This is an onsite position. Will be doing repairs. Possible travel to clients, but primarily onsite in Bradenton, FL.The requirements are:Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system block diagramsDiagnosing issues using onboard equipment diagnosticsSignal Analysis using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and multi-metersUnderstanding frequency and time domain signals, impedance matching, etc.Knowledge of avionics standardsKnowledge of interfacing protocols e.g.
RS232, RS422, CAN, Ethernet, and MIL-1553Electrical troubleshootingPower distribution systems, short/open circuits, etc.Software and firmware debugging wrt installed equipmentMust be able to make cables, solder, and read schematicsExperience with helicopters and integrations desired but not requiredA&P nice to have but not requiredAvionics tech with at least 6 years' experience with active military involvement a bonusType of equipment worked on:Navigation systems (INS, GPS) and antenna'sCommunication systemsVHF/UHF radios, SATCOM systems, HF transceivers, transpondersFlight control systemsAuto-pilot and flight management systemsElectronics displaysAC/DC power generation systemsEnvironmental control systems (cabin pressure and temperature)Radar systemsData systems (ARINC, cockpit voice recorders, data recorders)Trillium Technical has been recruiting and placing Engineering professionals for over 30 years.
