Trillium Professional is now seeking an Avionics Field Service Technician to cover the Western USA (WA, OR, CA, and other western states)!

This is a direct-hire full‑time position. Remote plus travel to client sites – 50 to 75% of the time (From a few days to a few weeks of travel duration). Salary Range $100k-135k – commensurate with field experience.

Must be living in the western US and will be working in the West Coast and Western US. Will travel initially to Bradenton, FL for training.

Requirements

  • Avionics Technician with 10 years’ avionics tech experience.
  • The Avionics Field Service Tech will perform training, repairs, and installs on customer sites.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system block diagrams.
  • Diagnosing issues using onboard equipment diagnostics.
  • Signal analysis using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Understanding frequency and time domain signals, impedance matching, etc.
  • Knowledge of avionics standards.
  • Knowledge of interfacing protocols such as RS‑232, RS‑422, CAN, Ethernet, and MIL‑1553.
  • Electrical troubleshooting.
  • Power distribution systems, short/open circuits, etc.
  • Software and firmware debugging relevant to installed equipment.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to craft small items on site.
  • Active military involvement is a bonus.
