Avionics Engineer

Our client seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to support the development, qualification, and flight testing of spacecraft avionics hardware, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom electronic systems. This role will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to validate avionics performance from assembly through environmental and flight test campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support avionics testing through functional, thermal, vibration (vibe), and thermal vacuum (TVAC) test campaigns.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation activities.
• Investigate test anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with systems, software, propulsion, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams to define and verify requirements.
• Analyze and communicate test results, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Support system-level integration, verification, and qualification of flight hardware.
• Maintain accurate test records, engineering documentation, and compliance artifacts.
