In this role, you will be responsible for designing and integrating aircraft avionics and electrical systems, including electrical architecture development, power distribution design, grounding network design, and system-level integration.Main Responsibilities:Develop, design, and integrate aircraft level electrical and avionics systemsAnalyze and manage total aircraft electrical loads and distribution networksDesign robust and redundant power distribution systemsPerform system level trade studies and interface with suppliers to develop the aircraft avionics systemWork across teams to manage the integration of the electrical and avionics systemsDesign and integrate aircraft level grounding systems for composite airframesRequirements:A minimum of 7 years of directly related work experienceBachelor of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experienceFundamental knowledge of aircraft electrical subsystems & associated requirementsExperience with electrical system architecture and analysisStrong understanding of aircraft groundingExperience with composite airframe electrical system developmentProficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorksExperience planning and executing various system testsElectrical harness design, build and installationCapable of working with teammates to determine electrical load & wiring requirements for aircraft componentsExperience establishing requirements, developing schematic drawings, creating a bill of materials and designing electrical power systemsExecuting and leading systems tests and checkoutsDesire to work in a manufacturing environment working with techs and a multidisciplinary engineering teamUnderstanding of Part 23 requirementsWorking Place: San Diego, California, United StatesCompany: ESR Healthcare
