nMcFarland Johnson is offering an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Planner to join our growing and dynamic Aviation Division . We are further expanding our Brownsville, Texas operation and looking for someone who is ready to play a key role in MJ’s continued growth in Texas. MJ is committed at the highest levels to this regional growth and building a multi-disciplined team in the Rio Grande Valley

Key Responsibilities:
n- n
- Support regional and airport and aviation planning assignments including:n
- n
- Airport master plans and layout plans. n
- AutoCAD drawing development. n
- AviPlan aircraft and facility modeling. n
n - Work directly with airport sponsors as an extension of staff, helping to shape aviation solutions at the ground level. n
- Research industry standards, best practices, and FAA/TxDOT requirements to guide infrastructure improvements. n
- Collaborate with MJ’s aviation professionals across offices to deliver innovative, client-focused services. n
Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Bachelor’s degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Aviation Management, or related field. n
- 3-6 years of progressive planning experience. n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, GIS, and AviPlan (). n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. n
- A self-motivated, organized mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships. n
