I’m currently working with a leading technology and engineering organization that is looking to add an AV Programmer 3 to their team in McLean, VA .

This is an opportunity for an experienced AV Programmer to work on complex, high-profile technology environments, developing and supporting integrated AV and control systems from design through commissioning.

The role:

• Develop and implement programming for integrated AV systems

• Program and configure control systems across complex AV environments

• Work with platforms including Crestron, AMX, Extron and Q-SYS

• Develop control logic, user interfaces and system functionality

• Integrate AV equipment, control systems and networked technologies

• Troubleshoot programming and system integration issues

• Support system testing, commissioning and client handover

• Review technical designs and work closely with AV engineers, designers and project teams

• Provide technical support throughout installation and commissioning

What they’re looking for:

• Strong professional AV programming experience

• Experience with Crestron, AMX, Extron and/or Q-SYS programming

• Understanding of AV control systems, signal flow and system integration

• Ability to read and interpret AV drawings, schematics and system documentation

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience working alongside AV designers, engineers and installation teams

• xhqgsiq Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance is preferred/required depending on project assignment

Salary: up to $150,000
