Compensation: $35–$45 per hour
CSAV Systems designs and integrates professional AV systems for commercial, corporate, municipal, institutional, and House of Worship clients. Projects include conference rooms, Teams and Zoom Rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, council chambers, video walls, and distributed audio/video systems.
We are seeking an AV Pre-Sales Engineer / Estimator who can understand what a client is trying to accomplish, develop the right technical solution, and turn it into a clear, accurate proposal.
Responsibilities
- Develop AV designs, Bill of Materials, pricing, scopes, and proposals
- Design audio, video, conferencing, control, Dante, and AV-over-IP systems
- Review drawings, specifications, RFPs, and client requirements
- Perform site surveys and participate in technical client discussions
- Estimate equipment, labor, engineering, programming, and commissioning
- Account for networking, switch requirements, PoE, and AV infrastructure
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, manufacturers, and distributors through project handoff
- Build client confidence through clear communication, practical solutions, and reliable follow-through
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial AV design, estimating, engineering, sales support, or integration
- Good understanding of AV signal flow and how integrated systems come together
- Familiarity with DSP, conferencing, control, Dante, networking, and AV-over-IP
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Exposure to Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Logitech, Poly, Cisco, Yealink, Extron, or similar products
- Strong organization, accuracy, communication, and client-facing skills
