Job Description:
* Skilled Low-Voltage Installation Technician
You Are:
* A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
You Have:
* Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.
Your Location:
* In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
* 11211 Richmond Ave Ste B110, Houston, TX 77082
Your Schedule:
* Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per Week
* Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm

Your Contribution to Echo Workshop:
* Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
* Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
* Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
* Build and lace equipment racks
* Advanced setup and configuration of devices
* Advanced understanding of networks
* Advanced troubleshooting of devices
* Programming of Lutron/Control4/Crestron/Savant/Vantage
* Train clients on use of systems
* Speak Spanish (not required)
What We're Looking For:
* 3+ yrs experience working in Resi/Commercial AV
* Retrofit Skills: Mastery of sheetrock cutting and wire fishing techniques.
* Low voltage cabling wizard
* Self motivated w/ passion for Custom Electronics
* Attitude for learning & Personal Growth
Echo Workshop's Contribution to You:
* $35/hr-$50/hr - Yup!
