We are looking for both first Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:15 pm. The hourly pay is $15.15 per hour. This is a contract to hire full time position.
Position Summary:
Auxiliary Operators are responsible for enhancing and making minor alterations to products. In this level the associate begins to learn and perform the essential skills and knowledge of an Auxiliary Operator. The Learner will be closely supervised during the initial training period but is expected to become increasingly independent. They will become able to perform routine tasks/duties, recognize problems, and know when to seek help.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performs job functions per the trainer's instructions (initially)
• Understands and perform the safety and housekeeping standards in assigned work area
• Ability to perform daily and weekly maintenance per requirements with initial trainer's assistance
• Ability to perform basic auxiliary operations under normal conditions with minimal assistance from trainer and utilizing standard work (Within a 2-to-3-month timeframe)
• Understands and utilizes controls to operate auxiliary equipment (Within 2-to-3-month timeframe)
• Basic understanding of print reading, gages, gaging requirements, use of comparator
• Understanding of job packets, job summary form, in-process inspection, location of reference documentation, standard work instructions
• The associate should understand and demonstrate the skills listed in the master training plan within the minimum time requirements.
