Job Description: As an Autonomous Systems Reliability Engineer, you will ensure the uptime, resilience, and real-time responsiveness of edge-computing networks and autonomous hardware ecosystems (drones, robotics, or self-driving platforms). You will design telemetry pipelines, construct automated failover mechanisms, and mitigate latency bottlenecks between cloud backends and edge devices. This role requires building chaos engineering experiments, maintaining strict SLAs for distributed real-time software, and responding to telemetry alerts for mission-critical edge deployments.
Key Skills
- Linux kernel tuning and edge OS optimization
- Real-time operating systems (RTOS) and ROS 2 (Robot Operating System)
- Distributed systems logging and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Network protocols (MQTT, gRPC, WebSockets, CAN bus)
- C++ and Rust development for low-latency runtime systems
Education
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
