Autonomous Production Manager (APU Manager)

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Tech (or equivalent leadership experience).
• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Experience: 5+ years high-volume manufacturing; 3+ years managing teams/supervisors.
• Industries: Automotive, industrial, or assembly preferred.
• Operations: Cementing, surface prep, or painting experience preferred; automation, robotics, or assembly.

Core Skills & Competencies

• Metrics: Driven to improve SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity).
• Tools: KPI development, visual management, production planning, scheduling, staffing, and resource management.
• Methodologies: Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis, and quality systems.
• Tech: Implementing new equipment and manufacturing technologies.
• Leadership: Coaching, employee development, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Traits: Fast-paced multitasking, data-driven decision-making, and teamwork.
