We give our Operators a wide range of responsibilities / opportunities to help us develop and roll-out our autonomous technologies to the world. This is not a standard driving position - it's an opportunity for highly capable, motivated professionals to be part of a technology team that is moving fast, is inventing the future of haulage, and asks a lot of its team members.Serving as Safety Drivers in our autonomous off-road haul trucks at our customer deployments in our various locations across the US.Working directly with our engineering teams to test and provide feedback on new technologies / featuresWhen necessary, operating other heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, and / or bulldozersAssisting with the development and testing of our off-road autonomous technologiesFollowing and helping to refine / further develop safety protocolsPerforming routine equipment inspections and light maintenanceMaintaining accurate operating recordsAn entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to be part of an early stage, deep tech startup that is inventing the future of the mining and quarrying industriesProfessional driving experience of at least 3-5 years, either off-road or on-road, with a clean safety recordExperience with mining and / or quarrying operations preferredExperience operating other heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers) preferredWillingness to travel as necessary and work occasional nights / weekendsStrong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in demanding, fast-paced environmentsBased in Arizona, Florida, Texas or WyomingWork on real, production-deployed autonomy.Build technology that directly improves safety, efficiency, and productivity.Tackle complex challenges in demanding, real-world environments.Be part of a fast-moving team with high ownership and impact.See your work deployed and making a difference in the field.Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and industry operators.As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. While this role is remote, travel to our various field sites across the US is a critical part of this operation.The base salary range for this role is $66,000-$78,000 per year and will vary based on location.Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
