Job Details:

Job Title: Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Corrections - Day Shift

Location: Troy, VA

Setting: Prison

Pay Range: -

Schedule: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday-Friday, No weekends or holidays

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Local or travel candidates

Requirements: Must be an autonomous NP (Can practice without MD supervision) and have active DEA. Must have primary care or corrections NP experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services in a correctional facility setting.
• Practice autonomously, managing patient care independently.
• Administer and manage medications as authorized with active DEA.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
