Pay Schedule: Twice Monthly (5th & 20th)

About Independent Automotive Repair Shop

Independent Automotive Repair Shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Plain City, OH.

You'll work on Domestic, Asian, European, fleet, and light diesel vehicles with a steady mix of diagnostics, electrical work, major repairs, and maintenance. Dedicated support helps keep you focused on turning hours and repairing vehicles instead of chasing parts or handling customer conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and mechanical concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, timing chain, and head gasket repairs
• Complete maintenance and general automotive repairs
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
• Use Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment
• Document diagnostic and repair findings

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• A-Level or B-Level diagnostic and mechanical ability
• Strong inspection and diagnostic skills
• Engine and transmission replacement experience
• Electrical diagnostic experience strongly preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Tekmetric or DVI experience preferred; training available

Compensation & Benefits
