Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician at Redline Bimmer Performance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality repairs, maintenance, and performance enhancements for our customers' BMW vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on BMW vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with the Service Writer and customers to understand vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and estimated costs.
n
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and provide accurate solutions.
n
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, following manufacturer's guidelines.
n
• Install, inspect, and repair various components, systems, and accessories, such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems.
n
• Perform performance upgrades and modifications as per customer requests, ensuring safety and compliance.
n
• Keep up-to-date with the latest BMW models, features, and technical specifications to provide informed service recommendations.
n
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines.
n
• Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality and identify any additional issues.
n
• Document all repairs, services, and parts used accurately for record-keeping purposes.
n

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive technology is required.
n
• Proven experience as an automotive service technician, with specific experience working on BMW vehicles required.

• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
n
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers.

• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment as needed.
