This is a high level system/SW engineer capable analyzing data, making and integrating builds and receiving issues coming from the field and driving them to closure.

E2/ECR/GPDS Releasing (Creation of ECR to closure)

Issue Resolution (i.e. PRTS, ESIMS, etc.)

Calibration development (i.e. TAC2, SPC, etc.)

Support for IVER/PPV/Man-Val/Production builds. Note: Potentially includes travel that is paid for by the supplier.

Support for bench and vehicle issues rootcause analysis and testing

Support Global Integration, Hardware and Application Software PDT’s

Support Global SSLT’s as necessary

Support CIT and math file collection and transfer to Tier1 mechanical team

Understanding of Tier1 System design

Feature Calibration Engineers

Similar but more on the tool development side. Understands very well the system and the data it generates at very deep level to be able to develop a calibration system. Definitely not a technician.

Algo level understanding of inputs/outputs/critical signals and connection to vehicle bus (CAN-FD)

Usage of instrumented Front Camera for calibration development work

Usage of data collection units to collect clips and vehicle bus logs for further analysis

Support all calibration activities at customer site

Calibration development (i.e. TAC2, SPC, etc.
