The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostic repair and maintenance, with specific expertise in servicing Nissan vehicles.Who You Are:2+ years of experience as an automotive service technician with experience in diagnosing and performing maintenance work on all makes and models of vehiclesQuality is a focus, and you can follow processes to ensure customer satisfactionA team player who is process-oriented with the ability to work independently, as a team with fellow lube techs, express lane advisors, & other store personnelEnjoy problem-solving and are passionate about staying educated and learning new technologyPrevious work history reflects commitment and stabilityHigh sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing prioritiesEssential Functions:Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems on all makes and models of vehiclesEnsure all work is completed to the manufacturer's specifications and quality standardsUtilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test components and systems; conduct test drives of vehiclesTest-drive vehicles, test components, and systemsFill out the online multi-point inspection report and keep accurate records of all work performed on vehiclesPerform warranty repairs following the manufacturer's specificationsMaintain service tools and equipment (tire machines, welders, grinders, air compressors, air reels, battery chargers, jacks, A/C machines, etc.)Requirements:2+ years of experience in diagnosing and performing maintenance work on all makes and models of vehicles- Nissan experience is preferredValid driver's license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving recordPass a pre-employment background check and a drug screen for illegal substancesMust be at least 18 years of ageAuthorized to work in the United StatesWho We Are:Vista Nissan, a Summit Automotive company, is built upon a different way of thinking.
