This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in precision work, values continuous learning, and believes in fixing vehicles right the first time.Who You Are:2+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systemsStrong technical knowledge across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVACCommitted to continuous learning through formal training and hands-on developmentReliable, detail-oriented, and quality-drivenA positive team player who collaborates effectively with advisors, parts, and leadershipCustomer-focused with a high standard for workmanship and efficiencyComfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple prioritiesEssential Functions:Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently and in accordance with dealership and OEM standardsDiagnose vehicle concerns accurately using advanced diagnostic tools and equipmentProvide clear labor and time estimates for additional repairsCommunicate technical findings clearly to Service Advisors and managementTest-drive vehicles and verify repairs to ensure quality and safetyMaintain accurate and thorough repair documentation (cause, correction, specifications)Promote a "fix it right the first time" mindset on every repairRequirements:ASE certification with a minimum of 6 active ASEsValid in-state driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenAuthorization to work in the United StatesMust be at least 18 years of ageWho We Are:Vista Toyota, a Summit Automotive company, is built upon a different way of thinking.
