nThe Quick Lube Technician is responsible for providing fast, accurate, and professional preventative maintenance services while delivering exceptional customer service. This position performs oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, tire pressure checks, and vehicle inspections in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
nKey Responsibilities
nPerform oil and filter changes on a variety of vehicles.
nCheck and top off vehicle fluids including coolant, transmission, brake, power steering, and windshield washer fluid.
nInspect and replace engine air filters and cabin air filters.
nPerform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
nCheck and adjust tire pressure.
nInspect belts, hoses, batteries, wiper blades, and lights.
nRecommend preventative maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines.
nMaintain a clean and organized work area.
nFollow all safety procedures and company policies.
nProvide friendly, professional customer service.
nCommunicate vehicle recommendations clearly to customers and management.
nAssist with shop opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
nHelp maintain inventory and notify management when supplies are low.
nQualifications
nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.
nPrevious automotive experience is a plus but not required.
nWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
nStrong communication and customer service skills.
nAbility to work well as part of a team.
nReliable transportation and dependable attendance.
nValid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
nPhysical Requirements
nAbility to stand for extended periods.
nFrequently lift up to 50 pounds.
nBend, stoop, kneel, and work underneath vehicles.
nWork in varying temperatures and shop conditions.
