Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Yuba CityNow Hiring - Diesel TechnicianPay: $22.00-$45 Per Flat Rate HourSchedule: Full TimeWhat You'll DoPerform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.Diagnose cause of malfunction.Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.Complete all required training.Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.What You'll BringCompetency: Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in the following areas with no supervision:Lube and Maintenance ServicesDiesel Engine ExperienceEngine RepairSuspension/Steering RepairBrake RepairElectrical/Electrical Systems RepairHeating and A/C RepairEngine Drivability Diagnosis and Repair (Optional)Certification/Training:Manufacturer certified in all areas listed above.Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 105% Customer Pay RepairsAutomotive Technical Knowledge – Three+ years experienceAcceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residenceTotal RewardsThis is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production ProductivityThe average pay range for this position is $22-$45.00 per flat rate hourActual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location.
