Join us in driving the future of automotive retail, where every employee is a valued member of the CAPITAL family!Automotive Diesel Technician Compensation and Benefits:Competitive PayHealth InsurancePTO401(K)Automotive Diesel Technician Responsibilities:Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with diesel enginesConduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checksInspect, repair, and rebuild transmissions in diesel-powered vehiclesRepair and replace components of the exhaust system, including mufflers and catalytic convertersDiagnose and repair hydraulic systems in diesel vehicles, including those in heavy-duty equipmentCommunicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair options and timelinesAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all repair activitiesOther duties assignedAutomotive Diesel Technician Requirements:Experience as an Automotive Diesel Technician with a focus on diesel engine repairs preferredASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications in Diesel Engines and related areas are highly desirableIn-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, including diagnostics and repairsAbility to work collaboratively with other technicians and service personnelProficiency in using a variety of automotive tools and equipmentService-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service to customersWillingness to adapt to changes in diesel engine technology and repair techniquesMust pass pre-employment background screeningsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
