Controls & Automation TechnicianHavel is seeking a Controls & Automation Technician to install hardware design and software programming, documenting processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Complete typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as requiredProvide detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers and subcontractorsResponsible for graphics buildingCheck out of HVAC control systems and wiringComplete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as requiredDocument processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control SystemsPerform site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system in full of assistanceDevelop long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractorsAttend job progress meetings as requiredAdhere to safety standardsMust be able to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders when neededOther duties assignedQualifications include:Minimum of a technical Associates Degree with 1-2 years of field experience or 3 years of equivalent related experience in the HVAC industryMust have relevant technical hands on systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systemsStrong customer and communication skills to a non-technical audienceMust have experience with Microsoft Word and ExcelNiagara AX certified preferredMust work in a team environmentRegular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.Compensation Range: $18.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits: We are committed to providing employees a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, a 401(k) Savings Plan, College Coach and employee assistance program.
