Automation Technician OpportunitySolventum is seeking Automation Technician candidates to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN! Starting pay is $35.40/hour plus a shift differential. Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The impact you'll make in this role includes:Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying facilities and production equipment.Applying fundamental technical skills to develop, improve, and implement manufacturing processes.Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.Analyzing data/performance of existing equipment to determine proper maintenance plans, design changes, and improvements.Maintaining equipment parts inventory.Working with supervisor to identify improvement opportunities.Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.To set you up for success in this role, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Possess an associate degree or higher in an electrical/mechanical field.OR possess a High School Diploma/GED AND 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Ability to work 3rd shift (Sun – Thurs; 10:00pm – 6:30am).Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or short notice shift coverage as needed.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Ability to stand and/or sit frequently.Work location: Onsite - 10351 W 70th St, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.Travel: No Travel.Relocation Assistance: Not authorized.Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
