Job TitleResponsible for set-up and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process. Perform installation of process control and robotic equipment. Perform update modifications, preventative maintenance, and periodic performance checks.

Maintain service records of the control devices and automated equipment, repairing when needed. Interact with all levels on the operational team. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions.Work Environment — Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.Essential FunctionsExamine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human errors contributed to the problemsStudy blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to determine installation proceduresSet up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properlyTrouble shoot, repair, adjust, or calibrate industrial machinesMaintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or testsCalibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specificationsCoordinate efforts with other workers involved in installing or maintaining equipment or componentsAdvise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product improvementsPerform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problemsTest faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and apply knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systemsInspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation or for defects, such as loose connections or frayed wiresApply creative skills and related knowledge in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and the ability to install, program, troubleshoot, circuitry, control systems, and machineryPerform testing, start-up, and troubleshooting of PLC and industrial control systemsProgram robot for series of manipulator moves by using handheld teach pendant or pc and software packageDesign, program, & troubleshoot PLC, industrial control systems and relay control circuits to include panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and interfacesOther duties as assignedAbility to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customersSupport the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings.Skills & AbilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with industrial control systems and/or robotic control systemsKnowledge of electronicsKnowledge of pneumatics and mechanical assembly preferredMachining experience preferredPosition QualificationsEducation: Associate's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Robotics technology preferred Experience: One year of related experience preferred Computer Skills: Must demonstrate computer literacy; Proficient using Microsoft Office; Experience in PLC and HMI programming
