Job TitleDesign highly automated material handling projects and solutions across multiple engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Controls, Structural, ASRS and Robotics.ResponsibilitiesReview/influence large, automated project proposals/concepts ahead of project salesCoordinate and influence all engineering disciplines towards best-in-class solutions when dealing with large automated systemsParticipate, when appropriate, in the project design cycle as an individual contributorSetup/facilitate project design review with all stakeholders to ensure that deliverables are suitable for construction, meeting customer expectations, safety standards as well as meeting budgetary constraints.Research and understand design regulations and codes to ensure system design satisfies requirementsPresent and manage customer deliverables in a means that provides the best high-performance system for the customer while maintaining budget and schedule commitments for project success.Engage with third party equipment manufacturers in developing request for proposals (RFP's) that are in line with project requirements.
