Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the daily operations of the business unit through the installation, programming, start-up and maintenance of automation and process control equipmentResponsible for the design, specification, installation, programming, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automation equipment in order to improve plant system operation/uptime and reduce total operating costsSupport all types of plant activity including DCS, PLC, measurement facilities, natural gas collection systems, gas compressors, and gas plant processing equipmentSuccessful applicant will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology GroupsThoroughness and attention to detail are required as a significant amount of time will be spent working with complex PLC programs and advanced process control systemsWill be subject to overtime and call-out work as neededOther tasks may also be assigned to support operations as necessaryUnderstanding of pneumatic instrumentation: calibration and maintenanceAll other duties as assignedEducation and/or Work Experience RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsExcellent diagnostic and repair skills for complex problems in automation systemsExcellent knowledge of automation host systemsSkillful in reading electronic schematics, identifying components, and understanding their functionsAble to read, program, install and troubleshoot complex PLC programsGood computer skillsWorking ConditionsWill be working in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.Will work outdoors in adverse or extreme weather conditions.Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessityPhysical RequirementsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsAbility to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 62 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.Kinetik is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate against qualified applicants on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
