This is a short-term contract opportunity ideal for a hands-on PLC/HMI professional who can immediately contribute to loop checks, commissioning, and chiller startup efforts with minimal supervision.The ideal candidate will have practical field experience with PLC systems, HMI integration, and startup support in industrial or mission-critical environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport commissioning and startup activities for automation systemsPerform loop checks and system validationAssist with chiller startup and operational testingTroubleshoot PLC and HMI systems during commissioningWork closely with project teams to resolve field issues quickly and efficientlySupport automation system functionality and performance verificationMaintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule requirementsRequired Qualifications1–3 years of automation, controls, or commissioning experienceExperience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLC hardwareFamiliarity with PLC troubleshooting and startup supportAbility to work independently in a fast-paced commissioning environmentStrong understanding of industrial automation systems and field devicesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Ignition HMI platforms preferredPrior commissioning or data center experience is a plusKnowledge of chilled water systems or chiller startups preferredAspen Technical Staffing Celebrating 25 Years ~ ~ We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
