Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Automation Quality Engineer will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software application functionality while collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing guidance to associate engineers. Key responsibilities Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts and execute test cases while reporting results Independently identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools such as JIRA Collaborate with software engineering teams to understand application functionality and maintain existing automated test scripts Required qualifications 2 to 4 years of overall testing experience, including 1 to 2 years of automation testing experience Proficiency in core Java programming concepts and strong experience with automation testing tools like Selenium and JUnit Experience using version control systems such as Git and knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber Familiarity with SQL and database testing, as well as UI and API functional testing Experience using JIRA and ZE management tools
