Recruitment Consultant | Cybersecurity at Glocomms
Glocomms is seeking an Automation Engineer, OT to support and secure its OT infrastructure across production sites for a leading manufacturing company. This role focuses on designing and maintaining secure, reliable systems for industrial operations, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, automation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Ensure site safety compliance and contribute to a secure working environment.
* Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enhance ICs security and manage OT network infrastructure, including firewalls, remote access, and switch configurations.
* Monitor and apply security patches across OT/IT systems, including servers, workstations, and control devices.
* Manage virtual machines, backups, endpoint protection, and ensure compliance with internal security policies.
* Maintain documentation, support third-party OT solutions, and integrate security into project planning and execution.
* Administer Active Directory, including domain controllers, group policies, and DNS.
* Respond to cybersecurity incidents, validate recovery procedures, and analyze site-level logs.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and align with global teams to enhance operational excellence.
* Contribute to Industry 4.0, MES, and IIoT projects; lead or assist in automation system design, PLC/HMI development, and commissioning.
Requirements
* 4+ years in industrial automation and OT systems.
* Experience with CISCO, Microsoft Server, VMWare, Rockwell, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
* Proficiency in Rockwell Software Suite and Microsoft SQL administration.
* Basic knowledge of Oracle and Linux OS.
* Strong cybersecurity strategy experience.
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 24/7 operational environment.
