Automation Engineer (Allen Bradley)Location: Ogden, UTStatus Direct Hire Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 DOEExperience: Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience in industrial automation (Allen Bradley)SummaryThis role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes. The engineer will develop PLC logic and robotic programs, evaluate emerging technologies, build proof-of-concept solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. Success in this position requires strong technical problem-solving skills, the ability to optimize and maintain automation systems, and effective communication with leadership regarding project progress and results.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline internal processes and workflowsBuild prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new tools, systems, and technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations) to identify automation opportunitiesDevelop PLC logic and Robotic programsEvaluate and integrate emerging technologiesMonitor, maintain, and optimize automation systems for performance and reliabilityDocument systems, processes, and best practices for scalability and knowledge sharingContribute to innovation strategy by identifying new areas where automation can create valuePresent concepts, findings, and proof-of-concept results to senior leadershipProvide clear, accurate, and timely project updates to managementTravel may be required on an as-needed basisQualifications:Bachelor's degree required (engineering or related field).5 plus years of experience programming industrial automated equipment Allen Bradley PLC programming Robotics, vision, motion control, pneumatic systemsBenefitsPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
