Overview
The Automation Engineer focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing control systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (Siemens and Allen Bradley preferred)
* Optimize equipment performance through continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime
* Modify and improve HMI/SCADA systems as needed
* Assist with new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* Experience programming PLCs, especially Siemens and Allen-Bradley
* Background in industrial automation, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
