If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out.The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Automation Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing automation systems and equipment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, control logic, and operating procedures.Conduct root cause analysis of production downtime related to automation failures and implement corrective actions.Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, robots, and other automation devices.Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).Experience with robotic programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.Bonus QualificationsExperience with Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory initiatives.Familiarity with a variety of PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi).Background in a specific manufacturing process (e.g., automotive, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals).Proficiency in a scripting language like Python for data analysis or tool development.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.Job Titles That Should ApplyAutomation Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Industrial Automation Engineer, Process Automation Engineer, Manufacturing Automation Engineer, Automation Specialist, Automation Technician, Automation Lead, Automation Architect, Automation ConsultantWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
