Automation Controls EngineerSeeking an Automation Controls Engineer with minimum 7 years of hands-on, in the field experience, installing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and qualifying industrial control systems. Life Science experience is a plus. Extensive experience working with and around industrial equipment integration is a must.Responsibilities:Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate manufacturing equipment and systems into the data fabric architectureDesign, develop, and implement automation solutions for data acquisition, transformation, and transmissionConfigure and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other industrial control systemsEnsure secure and reliable data flow from edge devices to central data platformsSupport the deployment of edge computing devices and IIoT gatewaysDocument system configurations, workflows, and integration pointsProvide technical support during commissioning and post-deployment phasesSkills and Experience:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field7+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systemsStrong hands-on experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider)Familiarity with SCADA systems, OPC UA/DA, MQTT, and industrial communication protocolsExperience with IIoT platforms and edge computing devicesDeep expertise with Ignition by Inductive AutomationExperience working in GMP-regulated environmentsFamiliarity with validation protocols IQ/OQ/PQKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environmentsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsJob Location: Primary Location: USGAATLA03 (ITUSA, Atlanta, GA - 5 Concourse Pkwy - COG)
