To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Automated Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that information systems and products meet organizational standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software functionality and performance Lead testing activities and document results, collaborating with project stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 10 or more years of experience in software testing Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with a proven track record in complex software projects Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, as well as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
