Job TitleYou will monitor and maintain highly automated manufacturing lines and the supporting pieces of equipment for the manufacturing processes, while meeting goals of quality, cost and delivery for our customers. The position reports to the Automation Technical Team Lead of a rapidly growing Medical Device manufacturer.Quick SummaryYou are responsible for executing Preventative Maintenance Orders, Protocols, and detailing the work performed. Assisting Engineering in the testing of procedures in support of regulatory requirements.

You should have time/project management skills, a positive attitude and understand the technology that is used within the manufacturing process. In our business, it is critical that you demonstrate a solid understanding of the importance of quality.Basic Background RequirementsThis position will require:2+ years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment.Work experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC's, Cognex Vision Systems, and Fanuc robots. Considerations made for comparable technologies.Ability to compose professional documentation (Write protocols, work instructions, engineering studies, etc.).Ability to manage time and projects effectively while setting and meeting aggressive schedules.Key Performance ObjectivesShort Term: (0 to 3 months)Learn KEIND Quality system requirementsTrain on processes required to operate and maintain the Automated LineBuild relationships with team membersBegin training on the manufacturing line and the technology in use on the Automated EquipmentHelp execute maintenance work orders and protocols on the Automated EquipmentMaintain customer specific system documentation in support of FDA regulatory requirementsMidterm: (3 to 6 months)Demonstrate the understanding, programming ability, and troubleshooting of the Automated EquipmentDevelop an understanding of maintaining the Automated Equipment in a Validated StateLearn and adopt Kimball Electronics philosophies and cultureUnderstand and execute all Maintenance Work Orders and Protocols associated with the Automated EquipmentLong term: (6 to 12 months)Ability to support the second shift on the Automated Line with minimal supportCreate, modify, and troubleshoot all programmable technologies on the Automated EquipmentAssist Engineering in the Implementation of improvements on the Automated Equipment processes and/or cost reductionsDemonstrate an understanding of FDA 21 CFR 820/GMP Medical Device RegulationsDemonstrate an understanding of maintaining the Automated Equipment in a Validated StateDon't meet every single requirement?
