Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced utoCAD Designer to support their engineering team in producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings. This role will work closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts and specifications into clear, compliant construction documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D (and 3D, if applicable) drawings using utoCAD based on engineering designs and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret redlines, sketches, and design concepts
- Prepare site plans, layouts, profiles, and construction details
- Revise and update drawings based on internal and client feedback
- Maintain drawing standards, templates, and file organization
- Ensure all plans comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- ssist in quantity take-offs and basic design calculations (if applicable)
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
- Support project documentation and submittals
- ssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience (engineering or construction preferred)
- Strong proficiency in utoCAD (Civil 3D, Revit, or other software a plus)
- bility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of industry standards and local codes (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
