Auto Mechanic

We are seeking an Auto Mechanic to service fleet vehicles (Ford Explorer Police Interceptors) Reporting to the service manager, shop foreperson, and general manager, this role performs independent repairs from work orders, conducts inspection. Coordinates specialized technician handoffs when needed. The shop provides standard diagnostic scanners, with additional equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using standard diagnostic scanners.
• Perform engine repairs and suspension repairs.
• Complete brake service, oil changes, and tire service.
• Perform electrical repairs across fleet and mixed vehicle types.
• Order parts required for assigned repairs.
• Document inspections, repairs, and service outcomes.
• Complete independent repairs from work orders.
• MUST have own tools
