Auto Machine Line Operator (3rd Shift)Crescent Machine Operator is responsible to perform machine operation duties committed to meeting all our customer's need, and people's needs. Ensuring he operators as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P's:PurposeProcessPeopleWhile building on our culture of:Doing it RightDoing it SafeDoing it WellSafetyRead and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing it SafeEnsure a safe work environment is maintainedEngage in the Safety Observation processEnsure a preventive maintenance tasks are completed one time and correctlyEnsure all equipment is operating safelyEnsure all line work and machine tasks are being completed in a safe mannerEnsure a clean and organized workspace, and hold themselves to a high standard and lives the "leave work areas better than found them".Continually seek out and remove forms of risk created by our equipment and equipment setupPeopleProvide technical leadership and troubleshooting capabilitiesBe a leader in training for all other personnel at Crescent who will interact and or operate with equipment.Recognize to ensure each person feels appreciated for the value they provideLead people to encourage maximum performance and dedicationProductivityPerform tasks associated with setup and preventative maintenance of the equipmentEnsure all line setup are done correctly, safely and on timeLook for and create Continuous improvement ideasProvide a first level of troubleshooting and machine diagnostic when equipment is not performing properlyBe able to setup and operate any auxiliary equipment such as labelers and printersCommunicate issues and opportunities to the site Production Leader or SupervisorsLead Equipment ChangeoversQualityEnsure all equipment is operating in a manner that produces quality productCommunicate any suspected quality issues to the appropriate personParticipate in root cause analysis on quality issues and be part of corrective action developmentProvide consultation along with Quality leader and Ops leadership on all new builds to ensure "quality at the source" design.Customer ValueEnsure the proper care and use of equipment – Crescent and Customer owned equipmentProvide real time support to customer trials, samples and visitsFinancialBe knowledgeable of impact of equipment costs on CrescentUse equipment, support and other materials appropriatelyDo It RightDoing what is right for our Customers, doing what is right for our Company and doing what is right for our People.
