Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) who is fully qualified in ADI-R to join a growing neurodevelopmental assessment service delivering high-quality autism assessments remotely.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive clinical team in a permanent role offering flexibility and fully remote working . You will play a key role in delivering structured autism assessments and contributing to accurate, evidence-based diagnostic outcomes for individuals and families.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver structured ADI-R assessments remotely in line with recognised clinical guidance.
- Conduct detailed interviews with parents, carers and/or individuals as part of the diagnostic process.
- Produce clear, high-quality clinical reports to support diagnostic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including clinicians involved in the autism diagnostic pathway.
- Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are upheld and appropriate escalation procedures are followed.

- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration .
- Demonstrable experience conducting autism diagnostic assessments .
- Strong clinical report writing skills.
- Confidence using remote consultation platforms and digital clinical systems .
- Experience within CAMHS, neurodevelopmental services, or learning disability services .
- Familiarity with additional autism assessment tools .

- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Location: Fully remote
- Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time considered
