To support managed care programs, the full-time Minnesota Licensed RN Authorization Specialist will conduct complex care coordination and referral management while collaborating with Access Coordinators and customer service personnel in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Conduct managed care activities including referral and prior authorization processes Provide clinical expertise and leadership to Access Coordinators for efficient service delivery Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on health care initiatives and compliance issues Required qualifications BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing school Current nursing licensure in the state of employment Experience in managed care or care coordination Knowledge of health care agreements and insurance processes Ability to work collaboratively with various clinical and business services
